Analog Outputs
Each of the five DAP models listed below provide two analog output channels. Our CYDAS
1602HRDAP board has 16-bit resolution and a 512-sample FIFO buffer for waveform
generation at speeds up to 100kHz. Our CYDAS 1602HDP board provides 12-bit D/A
channels, with a 1024-sample buffer and 100kHz throughput.
The other three boards with analog outputs (CYDAS 1202DAP, 1002DAP, and 1001DAP)
have typical settling times of 4µs. However, these three boards take their instructions directly
from your software, so throughput rates are affected by the speed of your PC and software.
Outputs on these five boards are accurate to ±1 LSB. Each output can drive loads up to ±5mA,
and is protected against short circuits. Outputs are cleared to 0 volts on power-up or reset.
Digital I/O
All of the boards on this page provide 24 bits of digital I/O. Configured as two 8-bit ports
and two 4-bit ports, each port can be set independently as input or output via software. CYDAS
1602HRDAP offers high current capacity: 64mA sink or 15mA source. Other boards on this page
sink or source 2.5mA
Counter/Timer
Our CYDAS 1602 boards provide one16-bit down counter with a clock, gate, and output
connections. The other boards on this page provide three 16-bit down-counters with clock,
gate, and output connections for each counter.

Broad Range of Industrial Applications
Our CYDAS 1000 series PCI boards offer a
good balance of speed, channel count, and
cost. Designed with most industrial
applications in mind, our CyDAS family of
data acquisition and I/O boards is used in
systems all over the world. All boards include
our Universal Driver and LabVIEW Libraries as
well as drivers for Windows 2000 and XP.
Each board in our CYDAS 1000 family
provides 16 single-ended or 8 differential
inputs. To simplify programming and help
ensure maximum data throughput, an on-board
FIFO buffer holds up to 1024 samples (512
samples on the CYDAS 1602). The FIFO buffer
allows data to be transferred to your PC’s
memory without the possibility of missed samples.
